Our new Lagun table with pictures

Post by Tahoe »

After converting to 2 Flex steel sofas we still needed to solve the table issue. Reusing the existing table because it matched the rest of the coach seemed like the right choice. So after making a mock up of the real Lagun table to make sure it would work I ordered the table leg assembly from Great Britain for $175 including shipping. Ordered on Monday, received Weds, installed today. I made a custom mount from 3/4" thick plywood that for our application works perfect. What's nice about the installation is can be lowered and positioned over one sofa with the drivers seat all the way back. When at the camp site move the drivers seat about 2 inch forward and we have full range of operation. When sleeping with both sofas expanded the table rotates to the front is not in the way. Posting 4 pics 2 in this post and 2 to follow because only 3 pics per post can be done.

Here is a link to order the table mount. https://www.marineteak.co.uk/all-pedest ... system-331

I love posts like this! How someone overcomes an RV problem with a perfect solution. While we don't have a table issue, we are working on a curtain issue right now and think we have it figured out. We all know that you can't have it all with an RV, i. e., if you want this, you can't have that. This is a great idea.

Thanks for sharing. I agree. I love when people come up with creative solutions and share them with the rest of us.

I'd like to add that I'm extremely impressed with how sturdy the assembly is. Very well made, and we're always leary of spending hard earned money on something we've never seen except in pictures. This to us was worth every penny so far. Can't wait to take on a trip to see how it works camping. Right now it works perfectly kicking back with my tablet on the table and a fine IPA to boot!

Back in 2009 I found a place in Washington state selling the Lagun table mount for $69. I jumped on it and ordered two of them. They turned out to be Chinese knock-offs. They where identical to the Lagun except for the plastic bushings at the pivot points. I fabricated some bushings out of copper pipe couplings and that worked well. Here's my install:
