This classic, lovely Born Free has been protected in a barn, is well-maintained, restored and fully loaded for long vacations or weekend get-a-ways. The superb quality of Born Frees make them long-term investments with an ergonomic floating fiberglass shell (no leaks ever), and three steel roll bars in the construction to ensure passenger safety. We added two seat belts on one sofa so it safely seats and sleeps four. We have loved this Born Free for 10 years; however, we just bought a newer model, so it is not practical to have two! It does have 124,000 miles, but since we have used it so much, we have made the following mechanical and functional replacements:

Mechanical improvements include:
• New car battery (2023)
• All new shocks plus additional air shock suspension (2023)
• Upgraded from 1300 BTU to 1500 BTU ceiling/roof AC (2022)
• New transmission (2019)
• Synthetic oil and filter changes every 3-4,000 miles with engine tune-up (2022)
• Replaced front tie rods
• Front End alignment
• Two new front tires
• Replaced Ford chassis AC and components (2019)
• Added Backup Camera and tire pressure monitors

Functional/aesthetic replacements/upgrades include:
• Replaced all double pane windows (2021)
• New Linoleum floors throughout
• New LED lights in bath and kitchen
• Replaced bath exhaust, holding tank sensors, and toilet seals
• New bathroom sink and fixtures
• New Microwave (2021)
• New TV with DVD player (2020)
• Re-stained and polyurethaned all solid oak wood cabinetry
• Upgraded so sleeps and seats four with new bunk mattress
• Upgraded draperies, including adding privacy drape to enlarge the dressing area
• We used seat covers over all leather seating to preserve their cleanliness
• Never smoked

Asking $27,500, OBO. If interested, please call or text Bob at 203-988-0442. We are in CT, so if you want to stop by to see it, just give us a call.
