Onan generator muffler

Any suggestions about where to find a muffler for my 1998 BF Onan generator?

At 268,000 miles the coach is still purring along fine and I plan to keep fixing stuff rather than spending 10 times as much for a new whatever.

The rear end and tranny were recently replaced and the motor is next. That will give me a "new" machine at 10% of the cost of a new one. And the bed fits!

Although it uses only a qt of oil every 3K miles, I'm nervous about another spark plug blowout such as I had some years back. The new engine will have 10 threads for the spark plugs rather than the original unsatisfactory 4 threads. Ford fixed that in 2003.

Get the specific Onan generator model off the unit’s ID plate and contact Cummins Engines for replacement muffler.
