Does anyone know the towing capacity of a 2016 Royal Imperial with the F550 chassis and the Diesel engine?

I don't have the chart for the 2016 model but my chart for the 2015 model shows:

GVWR 19,500
GCWR 35,000
Ball Hitch Towing Capacity 7,500
Tongue Weight Max 750

I suspect it is the same for the 2016 Model

Interesting. Scott told me 12k and 1000 pounds when I was looking. Said the gcvw was 32k and 19.5k for gvw. The difference is the tow rating. I will look and see what my coach says.

The figures I provided came from a form that I had to sign at Born Free when I picked up our Triumph Royal and it shows the data for every model they produced that year.

Interesting, then the weak link is probably the hitch. I did not buy mine from BF so I did not have to sign that form. I did ask when I ordered mine.

Thank you for the help. Scott also told me 12,000 pounds which seemed high. I am going to try to determine the hitch capacity from the model number on it.

I found the 12,000 lb. figure. It is listed as the "Rating with Weight Distribution Bars". It applies to 3 models: Splendor Royal, Majestic and Imperial. All of them are diesel chassis with the 4.88 axle ratio and 19,500 GVWR and 35,000 GCWR.

For what its worth, I am towing 10,500 # with a 2014 Triumph using distribution bars and a 1200# hitch weight with no issues. F550 PDS chassis. :)
