Well I have had the new coach a 2015 Royal Splendor and the AC had a large pop today and stopped working. I hope it is just a capacitor but I will take it in on weds. Also the waterheater is not running on electric. Oh and when we checked it out it was working as well as the fantastic fan remote is not working. Somthree issues but still love it anyway.

John, do you have a tank hot water heater or the instant on tankless version?

The tank kind. I can heat it on gas so I will put in a new element. The AC is more puzzling.

John,

That water heater has a on/off switch on the heater for the electric element. It is almost hidden behind a tube. When you open the door to the heater, look in the lower left quadrant.

Monti, you were right, it is hard to see. It was off so I switched it on and we have hot water on electric. Now just the AC to fix and the fantastic fan remote or replace it with one with the controls on the fan.

Yep, I went thru that drill with my brand-new BF. Careful reading of the manual indicated there was a switch but it was so well-hidden that it is easy to overlook. Glad that was the only problem with yours.

Well, I will need a new AC unit installed. The old motor is burned out the compressor is shot and the fan is missing some blade area. It looks like the loud noise was the unit self destructing.

All is working and we took our first trip. Love the unit and it is a joy to drive and lives very well.
