3 legged pig

I was visiting.an old friend who had moved to a farm. On touring the farm, I saw a fancy pen, with an awning, nice gate, etc. inside was a pig with 3 legs. I asked "Whats the deal with this pig?" My friend says "oh! Amazing story! One night he was squealing like crazy and woke me up- my house was on fire! He saved our lives! And not too weeks later, my tire jack collapsed and I was stuck under my car, and he broke out of his pen, ran to the house and squealed until my wife came out and saved me. He's a hero!" So I said, "Wow, thats incredible! how did he lose his leg?" And my friend said " Aw, he's such a great pig, I just can't eat him all at once."
