Swing away table
We are getting acquainted with our new-to-us 2009 24RB (twin incline beds) & would love to have some type of swing away table. In searching this site a thread (from about 5 years ago) mentioned that some models did have such a feature. Unfortunately, no one posted a picture of the original BF version of the table. Since we've never actually seen one - wondering if anyone currently has the Born Free version of the table and can post a picture of how it looks/works? It sounds like a perfect solution - if we can't buy one, would like to try and have one made.
Happy New Year and thanks in advance for any input!

Tom, Your Chinese Model looks good.
Wonder if anyone can find something similar from China?
I found the Lagun on Ebay. From UK. The only source I could find.
Anybody know of another source?
About $177 plus $36 shipping.
I am thinking of ordering one.

Re: Swing away table
I was also looking at the Lagun table on eBay. I've been looking for alternatives for the last couple of weeks, but haven't really found anything. I also haven't found a source in North America. I'm shipping some British car parts from England in the next week and was going to try and include a table in the shipment, but I think it's too late.
EDIT, Just found it here: http://svhotwire.com/?route=product%2Fp ... duct_id=13

Thanks for the link.
Interesting in reading the info, it says...
"CAUTION: THERE IS A COMPANY IMPORTING A SIMILAR PRODUCT FROM CHINA THAT IS NOT OF THE SAME QUALITY."
Anybody found such a product from China?

Re: Swing away table
How about converting wall bracket for old TV's for a table support.
If you mount it up side down, and remove VCR part it should work.

Just an idea.

Re: Swing away table
Thanks to all for the input! We are wanting something that will mount at the cockpit end of the coach, swing away and allow the table top to go "vertical" behind the front seats when not in use. The very rare pictures we have seen of the Born Free version looks like it actually does this. Tom - love what you did with the Lagun. Steve - pictures would be wonderful, when you have a chance.

Desert Rats; It sounds like what I have made for a swing away table support is pretty much what you have in mind. I made a bracket which attaches to the forward corner of the drivers side incline bed. I then made a removable top which is 2' x 3' and folds in half and stores behind the drivers seat. I will post pictures when I can find time. Also, I live in the Phoenix area, off the Beeline Highway just past the Fort McDowell casino. I would be happy to show it to you if you would like to come out.

Re: Swing away table
OK, we have a swing out table but it does not fold away behind the seat, I have long legs and there was not enough room to have a table behind the drivers seat ( I already tried that with a different table) and be in a comfortable driving position.
The vehicle is in storage and I didn't open the curtains for these pictures. One of the pics show the table stored for driving behind the drivers seat and if you look closely you can see part of a bungee cord, this keeps the table from swinging out into the aisle. The clevis pin came with the table but I added a steel tube thru the table support since it was hard to line up the rear hole when storing the table for travel.

Re: Swing away table
The swing out tables are intriguing but we are happy with the high quality eHemco folding TV trays we found on Amazon. $38 for 2 tables with free shipping. They store easily behind the Drivers seat on our BFT-mini with twin beds. You do have to be careful with your feet but that is true of the BF supplied table also. The tray tables are much more stable than the supplied table. Great price performers.
