Like this one.
Do you think it listed at the wrong price of $182k for the Triumph Rear Bath.

Also don't you think selling thru Lazy Daze has just increased the mark up,
instead of Factory Direct.
The only reason I am asking these questions, sometime I think about trading up.

I guess it goes without saying that dealers will want their cut. I wonder if it's still possible to buy factory-direct at more affordable prices. The same thing happened with Provan Tiger when they decided to sell through dealerships--the prices skyrocketed. Only Lazy Daze motorhomes are still factory-direct and a good value, IMHO.

I think the price has more to do with options than being sold at Lazy Days. Looking at the list of the coach mentioned above, with items like hydraulic leveling and many Ford F series items, the price appears to be in range with the current pricing of other quality class C and B+ coaches. Online I found a Roadtrek at $149,704.00 and a range of $129,900.00 to $189,900.00 for Coach House.
Like it or not, if we want the best with all the "bells and whistles" we gotta pay the price.

As somewhat of an old timer in awareness of BF involvement with dealers, it is my understanding that long ago sales were primarily through dealers, but John terminated that after a drop in sales resulted in substantial order cancellation or returns which was financially traumatic for Born Free. Then, just a few years ago there were a small number of dealers, at least on in CA, one in WA, one in AZ, and one in FL. That arrangement also ended badly with folks in IA ferrying units back home. Again John was reported to say "never again" so far a dealer sales were concerned. I am interested, for the sake of Born Free, in how the new arrangement works out in total. For what it is worth, the last time they went with dealers, there was a price increase that created quite a stir among owners and I received letter offering a reduction of a few thousand dollars if I were to purchase factory direct. That move seemed to calm existing owners.

Well, that price of $182k must be right, since it has never been corrected.
In that price range anybody know anything about these?

Would you guess they are not the quality of the BF.
I am still considering trading up to a larger BF.

I live close to Nexus and I have toured their facility. Quality product, but not to Born Free standards. I like the winterized holding tanks and size.
Well worth a good luck and probably a good value. The Ghost will be featured HGTV's show on the Hersey RV program

Well, the ad must have been in error.
I now see the same coach is listed at $157,365 for a 25 foot w/ slide.
When I was looking to buy my first RV, I also consider buying a Lazy Daze.
Interesting on their prices.
Plus no middleman.

I went to the Factory. They are nice. But not the quality of the BF.
But a lot less money.![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
