You should be able to ship it commercially door to door for about $800 or less. Would cost more than that to drive but you would get to see your relatives.

NADA is just a guide. When it comes to selling your unit, it all depends on how much it appeals to a buyer plus tangibles and intangibles. The seller has to make a good impression. Maintenance records may be very important to some buyers and less important to others. Fabric colors, floor plans, acce...

Definitely a nice "expedition box'. But as far as changing tires on the rv, it is a lot safer to pay for road service in advance. The only disadvantage is that it might take 45 minutes to an hour for the road service truck to find you. Can probably be added to your rv insurance for well under $...

Towing 4 wheels down, just center the steering wheel at hookup. Put ignition key on "accessory" so steering doesn't lock. The steering wheel is supposed to turn freely to follow the rv. Why restrict it with a bungee?? In thousands of miles of towing, only once did the wheels get turned whe...

Tow a Saturn SL2 4 door. Weighs about 2500 lbs. Back seat folds down so can throw things in there. Don't really know what the effect is on mileage because we are always dragging it. But mpg average 9.2 so it can't hurt very much. Saturn is automatic. So turn key to accessory and put transmission in ...

Have a question similar to Bill. Does anyone know if this product has a tendency to yellow the fiberglass? Looked at Lowes for the product but it was only available in a huge 6 gallon container for $65. But the information on the container Red Max Pro 3 sounded like it would be the easiest way to br...

A leak that has gone on for a long time would not be good. A leak that was discovered and fixed should not be a problem. Most Born Free's are well cared for. Sounds like your seller is on top of things and honest. If you buy from a private seller, he/she can tell you all about the history and mainte...

Tow a 1996 Saturn SL2 4 door sedan, very light car, 2500 lbs at most. Average 9.2 mpg over 15000 miles, including mountains. Don't know mileage not towing. The key is a light toad, heavier uses more fuel, and driving technique. 2002 26 RSB.

The loss of such great pets as you had is tough. We lost our beloved Maxwell, mostly German Shepard, two years ago to the same thing. His back leg hurt him. The first XRay was inconclusive. Five months later the bone was cracked due to cancer. He was 11 and in great health otherwise. Amputation did ...

Actually, this is an "exposed" drawer, it is not behind a door. Maybe I will push harder as one comment theorized that the slides are out of sync. Also will check behind the fridge from the outside re the drip tray. What a great "brain trust" on this forum!

Stumped on Two Maintenance Items

These are relatively small questions I would like to pose to the Born Free brain trust for help. First, the sliding drawer under the stovetop will not close completely. I have removed the drawer and see no obstructions. The ball bearing slides seem to work perfectly without the drawer in place. Howe...
