Here in New York the fee is based on weight not value. My 1990 26' RSB costs $57.50 a year, along with a $15.00 safety inspection. But be assured they (New York) make up the difference many other places making us the second hightest taxed state of the union.

Ford recall update E series 1992 thru 2003

Just read that Ford is again recalling their vehicles  . It seams that some of the wiring harnesses they have used in this recall are defective. This means that if you have had the recall performed you might still have a problem. You should be notified if your vehicle needs to be repaired agai...

Ford Recall

I had this recall performed on my 93 E150 Van. A small new wiring harness with a fuze was added to the cruise control wiring going to the switch on the brake system. The purpose of this switch is to disengage the cruise control when the brake is applied. For some reason this switch always had power ...

poor brakes

Two points, first a low brake pedal with the "BRAKE" light on means that one of the two (front & back) systems is leaking pressure, (some times this is a indication of a bad master cylinder). The best solution for this problem is to take you unit to a good repair facility and have this...

92 Cab A/C

I have a 93 E-150 Van and it uses Freon R12. There is a sticker on the radiator support the tells the type and amount of refrigerant required. If the system has been changed to 134R the mechanic is required to label it as converted to 134R. Another way to tell if it has been converted is to see if t...

I have an older 1990 coach a 26' RSB, it has three pockets in the floor by the seating area. There are three plugs with carpet on them, they blend into the carpet so well that I only noticed them after I had been under the coach to check the exhaust hangers and noticed them on the bottom of the floo...

My unit has 113,000 miles on it and still looks a good as many newer Class C 's that I have looked at. I sat down and did some checking of the GVRW tag on my E350 it looks like the capacities are calculated based on the 58 PSI inflation pressure on tag. Since the load range D tires can be inflated t...

The GVWR on my unit is 11,000 Lbs per the sticker on the drivers door jam. It sure looks like that the unit is overweight at 11,200 Lbs dry weight . If you add the front and rear GAWR's it add up to 11,872 Lbs a little over the 11,200 Lbs dry weight. I'm sure this is why the newer units are built on...

1991 RSB Specs

I have attached the spec sheet from my 1990 manual. The numbers should be good for 1991 too. The Ford E350 chassis are very close to each other from 90 to 91. Hope this will help. :)
