washing brush

The one I have has a rectangular head that does not rotate. The only name on it that I can find is "adjust-a-brush". The bristles are fairly long and soft and does a good job. Anyway, I can't see any dirt when I am done, but then maybe I am not looking too hard. I'm just happy to be finish...

Wash Job

Owning a BFT and being 6'2" helps tremendously, but that may be of little practical use for you. When we owned a travel trailer, I purchased an expandable soft bristle brush with a hose connection on the end. Sold the trailer, kept the brush. It works great on the BFT for that section over the ...

Twin Beds/BFT

My wife & I own a 2004 BFT that we purchased new. It has the twin beds with swing out table. We like it very much. We do not care for the new model as the table now has to be set up each time you need it and then folded up and stored when not in use. Had that been the case when we purchased, we ...

Range Hood

After reading all the coments(including one of my own), one cannot help but wonder if the problem might not be resolved by Born Free simply switching burner positions. Large burner to front, small to rear. And just maybe, Born Free might be able to move the hood back just in inch.

Linda. Your comments regarding stirring the pot and not being able to see what you are doing gave me a chuckle. Exactly my wife's comments following our first trip. To keep peace in the family, I moved the hood back and it was easier than I thought it would be. As I recall, I moved the hood back alm...

No screen door rattle, but shortly after we purchased our 2004BFT, our rear door begin to rattle. Very noticeable, very irritating. After consulting with Born Free(who tried to help) and three RV repair shops, a helpful hint from another Leap'n Lion solved our problem. A wrap around the door post wi...

Bill. I think all of us have at one time or another, had a hinge problem. I lost a nut on one and Kim was kind enough to send "several" replacements. Since then, after two years of opening & closing the cabinet doors, I have become somewhat attuned to the "sound" of the hinge...

storing of 26BF

If flying out of LAX is your only option, would definitely NOT leave it there. A suggestion would be the BF dealership in San Diego and catch a flight out of there for your connection to the East Coast. A second suggestion is using the RV campground adjacent to Disneyland in Anaheim and catching the...

We store our Born Free in an RV storage facility, and across the aisle is a Lazy Daze. I have been unable to look inside, so cannot comment there. As to the outside, there seems little doubt that the Born Free is of superior construction. Looking at such items as the entry step, outside mirrors, int...

Chris. Live in the Sacramento Valley in Northern CA, so we do not have your extreme temps. I do have a future son-in-law who is a large airplane/helicopter mechanic and who has an RV with gen. I was trying to start my gen in our BFT awhile back and was holding down the outside primer button for the ...

David & Janice. We have approx 12K on our BFT. We drive at 60mph, we do not tow, we watch the tire pressure, oil & filter changed every 3,000 miles and have a K&N air filter which I remove and clean fairly often due to the openness of the Ford air venting to the air cleaner. Overall, we ...

You are right; and whats more, you are not the only one. The idea of a dry bath is tempting, but all things considered, the BFT is one fine little camping machine. We especially like the idea of 13mpg on the open road. :P
