Re: Outdoor shower mixing valve

Here's a few links to look at if this is the valve that you have. I've not had to repair one, but it might only need a new cartridge. 10419 Replacement Valve Cartridge: https://www.scandvik.com/index.cfm?method=products_detail&productID=482 Factory info on valve: https://www.scandvik.com/index.c...

Re: Onan 4KY generator choke

George, Good for you being active at 85 still messing with a carb choke! Look at pages 8-17 and 8-18 in the service manual (page 84 and 85 in the service manual PDF file). You shouldn't have to disassemble the choke. It probably needs an adjustment. If you can loosen the adjustment clamp screw (show...

Re: Onan 4KY generator choke

George, If it is 4KY as in the Onan model, take a close look at the choke adjustment. Possibly a choke adjustment would help. Here's a few links with more info. Re: Inverter install '99 RB

This manually operated switch works for us. I wired it for shore power on position 1 and inverter power on position 2. The center position turns off all power flow. I wired it to switch all three wires so the GFCI circuit would operate without tripping. Uxcell a14120400ux0772 AC 690V 32A 3 Position ...

Re: How to remove wet bath sink drain (2013 model)

It looks like it could be a push on-off sink stopper. There is probably crud and corrosion above the o-ring (black o-ring in photo). With the bezel removed as you have it, you might see if you can soak the stopper housing down to the black o-ring with Kroil or PB Blaster. Stick the spray tube betwee...

Re: Broken window latch

This is an aftermarket latch that worked for us. We reused the original mounting screws.

Re: E-450 intermittent cruise control problem solved

Bill, you are quite welcome. I need to add that I use the FORScan Lite software on an Android phone with the MX bluetooth adapter. It has worked well for 2 years, but don't count on the battery saver function to work. I left the module plugged in on a passenger car for a week and came back to a dead...

E-450 intermittent cruise control problem solved

We had an intermittent cruise control problem for several years on our 1999 Ford E-450. Ours is a 7.3 diesel, but most of this will also apply to the V-10. The cruise would occasionally stop working after being activated and recently progressed to not working at all. I read the shop manuals. Since t...

Re: Iowa to Las Vegas to Mesa to Iowa Round Trip

Wolf Creek Pass is a beautiful drive and a beast of a climb. That pass alone probably dropped your trip fuel mileage a couple tenths. At the rest area on top, we met some hikers being dropped off for a summer walk. They were hiking up from there.

Re: Campgrounds in Las Vegas and Salt Lake City

Another Las Vegas option is Main Street Station RV Park. We didn't spend the night but used their RV parking while we toured Las Vegas.

For the Salt Lake area, Antelope Island State Park is a great place to take a dip in the lake and camp.

John,
I’ve been wondering if you got your new coach before the (hopefully temporary) factory closure. Congratulations on finding a coach that closely fits your needs. Hope you enjoy the coach for many years! It sounds very nice. -- Chuck

Re: 2002 26 rsb sway bars and steering stabilizer

Mine had a stabilizer installed from previous owner when I purchased it, took the stabilizer off and like it much better so far. Mark, was the stabilizer that you removed the self-centering type with springs for return-to-center? The Bilstein steering damper that we installed to replaced the factor...

Re: E450 Rear Brake Failure

Those are the heaviest rotors that I’ve removed, repacked and installed. I installed new seals after repacking the bearings. The only challenge is reinstalling the rotor without dragging the seal on the spindle threads.
