Well we have the HWH hydraulic jacks and love them! We purchased the manual control panel NOT the computerized one, so maybe that is your problem. We have a 24RB and no clearance problems with the jacks. The Dome sat dishes are quite small and up here in the Pacific NW they don't work well in the tr...

You can run any appliances off level as long as it is NOT the refrigerator, the reefer is typically 3 degrees L to Right and 6 degrees front to back. It does not hurt to run the engine or the gen-set off level.

I have! In fact I tried it but as it is an omni-directional it works far better in an upright position, in fact that's why I purchased the antenna I did, my Winegard TV antenna is on the slope but the marine type antenna I installed allows 360 degrees of adjustment.

OK, I've had a chance to test out our new WiFi antenna on our 2005 24RB, I had mounted the marine antenna on our new Winegard batwing antenna and it raises it about 5 feet above the coach. We now get excellent reception everywhere we go, I was even able to get a signal from a hotel about 1 mile away...

"It's my understanding that we shouldn't be starting our generators while being plugged into shore power. I think you can surge the electric system and cause problems to whatever you're plugged into." In answer to Trisha's comment our 2005 24RB has a built in relay that switches between A...

Adding to what Roger says about Verizon Mobile Office, we have been using the service for about two years. However instead of using it as just a modem, we use the 1xRTT service which is available if you have NationalAccess and is also free. The speeds are generally up to 144Kbps depending on total c...

Charlotte,
We have the Garmin Nuvi 660 with version 8 of City Navigator North America and it is not very accurate either! We live in the North West part of Wash State, maybe California is different.

We also purchased the Nuvi 660 and are happy with it, the mapping programs are not very accurate in our part of the country, Sequim,WA. in fact roads that have been here for over 50 years do not even show up on the maps. It does seem to work fine in other parts of the country, I like the large color...
