Today we have no AC to the outlets while on shore power. The inverter is on, at least according to the summary screen on the MATE2. Maybe there's something not right with the inverter. Our roof is gel coat. Yes, it is slippery when waxed but our roof is completely flat (it doesn't have that angle in front that the E-series chassis units have). I'm very careful when washing and spend a lot of time on my knees. I just wish I'd remember the knee pads before I start washing and waxing.

Folks recommended Meguiar's Premium Marine Wax to us and I've started using it. The directions say "... avoid applying to rubber and other soft, porous surfaces." There's a lot of rubberized caulk on the roof. Has anyone had any bad experiences using Meguiar's on the roof caulk?
