Re: Replacing Original Braun Delta TV Antenna

OK, so what is the difference between the Winegard Rayzar and the Sensar IV?

Re: Replacing Original Braun Delta TV Antenna

Some interesting answers, also in the coach modifications library. Owners who installed the Jack HDTV antenna, Winegard Sensar IV, or the Mohu Leaf 50 all report good results. The Leaf 50 is attractive in not requiring being mounted on the roof. Apparently non directional too. Welcome any comments o...

Re: Replacing Original Braun Delta TV Antenna

Didn't keep the quote from Camping World, but it was roughly as follows: $150 to remove current antenna, $150 to install new antenna, $150 for new antenna, and miscellaneous charges for cable, fittings, tax etc.

Replacing Original Braun Delta TV Antenna

My original tv antenna will no longer retract and extend. The Winegard Sensar IV is highly rated. Can this replace my original antenna or is there a difference in the hole size in the roof? Was hoping it could be a simple remove and replace. Anyone done this? Camping World wants $500 to R & R. S...

Leak

There is another method to discover location of the leak. Simply run a hose over the nearest body seam, starting low and working up. One seam at a time allows excluding those that don't leak. Allow time for the water to find its way to the floor before you start testing another seam. In addition to ...

Leaks require detective work and can be very perplexing. My carpet between the driver and copilot seats was also soaked. We have had a lot of rain and wind. At first, I suspected a vertical body seam behind the driver seat. But after raising the sofa and tracing the water stains on the sofa base, th...

Why not keep it simple and just set the thermostat for the propane furnace at 50-55 and open cabinet doors? And can also shut off water pump and open faucets. The coach is plugged in, the coach furnace will do the job. That's what I do here in FL panhandle when a cold snap comes. It doesn't use that...

There is a terrific campground in northern Al which might be of use. It is Point Mallard Campground in Decatur, Al, just off I 65. Run by the city, very reasonable and amazing facilities. Maybe 100 miles from Birmingham.

Installing MorRyde raised the back end on my coach about 3 1/2 inches. The rear end rarely drags now. But the entry door swings to the front where before it was balanced.

An update: First detailer I contacted wanted $800 to do the RV. Found a mobile detailer who did an outstanding job for $300, to which a tip was added. He and a helper did the entire exterior from top to bottom. Washed, power buffed with pads, applied Teflon with power buffer, a liquid on the sides a...

My wife's Mercedes ML350 had only 5000 miles in two and a half years, using synthetic Mobil One. Mercedes recommends oil changes every 10000 or one year, whichever is first. Nevertheless, like Dude, I thought why change it with so few miles on the car. Finally, I decided to change it myself and not ...

Fiberglass Care

Know this has been discussed before. My coach is eleven years old, stored outside, and the fiberglass now has oxidized in places. Have an appointment in about ten days to have the fiberglass buffed by a detailer. He has a product to apply after the buffing, but says it may only last three or four mo...
