Re: Anti-Slip Safety Tape on running boards
Photos would help. My 2004 used strips of 1” anti-slip tape. My local Dixieline Lumber store sold it by the linear foot. Helps to round the ends so they don’t come up. Also, helps to have a hand roller to mash it down evenly so it sticks well. Here are some 60 ft rolls in various widths: https://www...

Re: Hinges
So, I thought I'd revive this old thread and see if anyone knows where these hinges can be purchased? I just found a couple of broken pop rivets, so I'll be purchasing some 4-40 bolts (or the correct size - I'll measure it with a caliper to verify), but I do want a couple of hinges on hand in case ...

Here are the Kwikee brand holders which I believe the factory used.

Re: Tire blow out
Lots of times the tpms that screw onto the valve stem will leak there. I would take the tire off and take it to a tire shop and have them look it over and find the leak and then go back to ford. John S. has a good point. If you have an external TPMS screwed onto the valve stem of that wheel, take i...

Re: Tire blow out
It is one of 3 things: leaking valve stem (although it should have been replaced when they mounted the new tire), tire is not sealing on the rim for some reason, or the wheel itself is split and leaking. Suggest you do as Karl says: take the wheel with mounted tire off the RV, inflate to recommended...

Re: Tire blow out
I wouldn’t replace both if the front passenger tire is still good and hasn’t given you any problems. As you say, it only has 9,000 miles on it. Should be good for tens of thousands of more miles. Have Ford inspect it for damage or irregular wear.

Re: Tire blow out
Something was letting the air escape. A puncture, leaking valve stem, or bent rim, IMHO.

Have stayed here before. Great RV Park, especially with kids. Lots of things to do onsite. Even has a beachfront pool. Only 12 minutes from airport.

Re: It is a Born Free
I’m with JJ, even though I don’t and have no plans to live in a planned senior community. Folks should live where they want free of criticism from others. BTW, I am aware of several great BF owners and Leap’n Lions Club members that live in senior communities.
