Easy Solar Panel Mount
I thought I would share my solar panel mounting, it was super easy and cheap as you don't have to buy any solar mounting equipment, so long as you have the luggage rails. I found a 170 watt solar panel that matched the exact dimensions of the aluminum rails, all I had to do was drill a hole through ...

Re: cabinet hinges
I just bought a bunch of these for my 2006 Born Free, they are a perfect match and work great.

Re: steering wander
I'll stick with my previous recommendation, pick up a Roadmaster Steering Stabilizer, it does a fantastic job of returning your steering to center on bumps and crosswinds. You will love it.

Xantrex Freedom 458
Has anyone installed a Xantrex Inverter/Charger in their BornFree? I am trying to find a spot to install this, however my 2006 26rsb does not seem to have a spot where this would fit, the only thing I can think of is under the couch. Any thoughts?

Re: steering wander
I had some steering wander on my 2006 Born Free, I installed a Roadmaster Steering Stabilizer and front Sumo Springs. I went from two handed driving, to one handed/two finger driving, the difference was amazing! I drove 3200 miles with it stock up to Alaska, installed the stabilizer and Sumo Springs...

Re: Anybody Out There?
I made the drive from Utah to Alaska in early June, I will be up here in Kasilof until we drive back in late July. I saw one other Born Free at the Fred Myers in Soldotna, but that's it. Our drive was great as well, no problems.

Re: Toilet Sprayer
We just bought the Born Free so I’m not sure if it was working better before. With flushing the water is just dribbling out.

Toilet Sprayer
My toilet sprayer has almost no water pressure, the water just kind of dribbles out. Is this common? Is there a fix?

Re: Dead Outlet
Thanks for the tips, there is no evidence that this outlet was ever hooked up to an inverter, and all the other outlets on that circuit work. I unscrewed the outlet and all the wires appear good. My only other thought is that the outlet is bad, I'll try replacing it asap.

Dead Outlet
Hey guys, new owner of a 2006 Born Free RSB here. All of my 110 Volt outlets work when plugged in except my back bedroom outlet above my TV situated in an overhead storage compartment. All my breakers are fine and fuses check out, any ideas?
