Air compressor

My "Campbell Hausfeld" #FP202800/900, purchased at Harbor Freight, is inadequate and cannot top off tires to my satisfaction. Thanks for your thoughts.

Air compressor

In the recent conversation about air compressors, did anyone indicate they know of a compressor that is: 1. Compact 2. 110 Volt 3. Cable of inflating BF tires (as opposed to bicycle tires).

Sam, Unless changes have been made in the 23FL since mine was built last fall, I believe the article leaves a couple of inaccurate impressions. The writer used the word "ducts" and I believe "outlets" would have been more accurate. I do not believe the roof AC is "ducted&quo...

In response to your question (CJScott) about the exterior storage of the 23FL versus the 22RSK (now called 23RSK): The RSK does have MORE exterior storage due to the rear compartment that takes advantage of the unaccessible space under the kitchen counter. To make up for the reduced storage found on...

Floor plan change 2012 to 2013 model.

As far as taking the table up and down in a 23FL, it depends on how you arrange the living area. In my case I chose an incline bed. Consequently, I leave the table in place and have room to walk between the bed and the table. By removing the cabinet doors concealing the folded table and with them ou...

I didn't choose the Sprinter (in 2010 and 2013) over Born Free due to the taller height, narrower width, and diesel engine of the Sprinter.

With the current arrangement in the 23FL you can swivel the passenger seat to view the TV. In the original arrangement you couldn't see the TV from the swiveled passenger seat. Later today I'll have a response to your questions about storage and bed sizes in the 22RSK and 23FL. I have owned both flo...

Newbie here - Thinking of buying.

William, You are so correct. It would be cheaper to stay home, watch the grass grow, and wait for the grim reaper. We Born Free owners choose an alternative path :-)

Shower: It is LARGER than the shower in my previous 22RSK. I believe it is the same as in the 24' coach. It is fine for one person; would be a little tight for two, but not impossible :-)

Also, the 23 FL dining table is large and includes a leaf allowing comfortable seating for four (with the addition of two folding chairs.) When my coach was built (fall 2012), the dining table was an evolving "work in progress". Consequently, the current design may be different from mine. ...

To make additional storage, when building my 2013 23FL, Born Free repositioned the propane tanks to allow for a larger storage bay, deleted and replaced the generator (which I did not need) with a large storage area, and added a rear storage (similar to my previous 22RSK) at the cost of a little bit...

I'm glad to receive news of the rally and I plan on attending. It's great to have factory sales and service at Lazy Days. Sure beats the drive to Iowa.

How tall is comfortable?

When ordering my current Born Free coach I requested the drivers seat be moved back a few inches to allow for more leg room. It was explained to me that Ford regulations specify EXACTLY where the seats are to be located. Perhaps this requirement from Ford is necessitated by the air bags and/or seat ...
