Escaping air from water pipes sets off propane alarm.

When I allow air to escape from my water lines (through the kitchen or bath spigot) it usually sets off the propane leak detector. I would appreciate any thoughts and comments. I have experienced this event in multiple motor homes. Thanks.

Interior water leaks

In two previous coaches I've had a similar leak through the roof air conditioner. In each case a 1/4 turn of the two bolts tightened the unit down on the gasket to stop the leaks.

Norcold 2-way fridge

If the fridge is on the opposite side of the motorhome from the gasoline fill, how likely is an ignition of gasoline vapors with the fridge not turned off. Just wondering..... Thanks.

BF Updated Web Page

"We're more surprised at the apparent disappearance of the BFT rear-entry floor plans, especially the 20-21' model."

I was told (unofficially) the 22RSK plan cut into the sales of the rear entry floorplan. Perhaps the new 23FL plan also hurt the rear entry sales.

What kind of bicycle do you carry?

Steve, Probably like many folks I started with a folding bike from Camping World. Later, wanting a better bike I purchased a "Downtube". More recently, I have become acquainted with British built "Brompton" which makes an amazing folding bike. What I like about the Brompton is th...

Improving the incline bed.

I love my incline bed because it is a permanent bed without the uncomfortable crack of a sleeper sofa. However, I wanted a bit more width and improved support; more of a "home like" feel. So, after some modification of the bolsters attached to the wall (which I believe are intended to prot...

Sagging liner from air conditioner to front vent

I had a similar problem with a still under warranty motorhome (not a B.F.). With my agreement the manufacture's warranty center in Fitzgerald, Ga. (This is a give away as to the brand) installed a couple of rows of equally spaced "rosettes" through the ceiling fabric to permanently resolve...

A drive down Wilshire Blvd. in 1935

I really enjoyed the video Steve. It's a view of Americana through my parents eyes (born in 1908 & 1913). Thanks!

Washing BF when away from home

I can do a pretty good job with a small damp towel and a product, "Quik Mist & Wipe Detailer", available at auto parts stores Advance, Auto Zone, etc. If the BF is particularly dirty I may use a bucket to rinse the small towel. Afterwards, with Windex on the windows and some detailing ...

New Ford Transit Chassis Cab

I didn't see the words, "motor home", in the article. Is the new Ford Transit chassis intended for motor homes?
