Based on my previous Born Free motorhomes with aftermarket GPS, the switch allows use of the GPS while you drive. It overrides the safety feature requiring the transmission to be in "Park".

As best I recollect you have a "disappearing deductible" with Progressive. Maybe they all do that. I don't know.

When a bad electrical connection fried EVERYTHING in my 2006 Born Free, Progressive covered my loss 100%. Their service was excellent!
