Re: Awning options

Looking at the photo it appears that a straight arm was modified to fit the born free. It looks like a pie shaped wedge was cut out of the sides of the channel, and the flat side was bent to fit a born free shape and the sides were welded back together. If someone with a modified arm could measure t...

Cars have evolved far beyond adding a buzzer to the new computer control systems, that are used to run all the bells and whistles they contain. I think the car will turn off the blinker after a while anyway. Let us know what the dealer c...

Re: Help with parts...

Welcome to the forum: you will discover that all of the appliances and most of hardware used in you motor home was not manufactured by Born Free. Re: house batteries

If you have a gas engine and a Ford E350 chassis there should be two batteries under the hood the second (house) battery will be on the driver's side of the cutoff van body. If it's a diesel it will be mounted under the body on the driver's side since both of the under hood batteries are used for st...

Re: Source for Skid Wheels

on my motorhome there were two mounting plates per side, bolted to the frame extension that sandwiched the frame between them, and the caster assembly bolted to these plates. I suggest you either measure the bolt pattern or remove the caster and match it up with the replacement for the bolt pattern....

Re: AC trips the main breaker after about an hour

If your wire going to the breaker is hot this may indicate a poor connection. Try tightening all the terminal screws on all of the breakers this may help with your problem. Mike
