Re: Just drop Lithium batts in: w/o changing anything else?
So this thread is a little old, but I figured I would chime in as I have a good bit of experience with the topic. I've worked in the datacenter UPS industry for over 20 years now, 19 years handling escalation support and then the past 3 in product management. In that time I have dealt with hundreds ...

Re: Born Free Logo
The vector I posted can easily be changed to match whatever color scheme your particular unit has. They seemed to use many different color combos over the years.

Re: Electrical issue - Batteries stop charging on shore power
Art - do you have any pictures of your mini split install? I’m debating one for better solar performance, but I’m having a hard time envisioning where the interior air handler would mount.

Re: I need help with replacing Molding/trim
Art - Is there any trick to getting the new trim in place? I figure I should go through mine in the near future, but I dont exactly know what I'm getting into. Did you replace your screws with stainless and then some sort of sealant over the screw heads?

Re: Electrical issue - Batteries stop charging on shore powe
Well for those playing along at home - I got it resolved. After I swapped the Inverter/Charger the behavior improved and 12v loads would run longer, but the batteries would eventually die. Process of elimination brought me to the converter. Got a new one (upgraded Lithium compatible version ) and wh...

I have a vectorized copy of this version that you can download https://drive.google.com/file/d/11LMWHr ... sp=sharing
Any vinyl graphics shop should be able to make a decal from that .ai file and you can blow it up as big as you like without it getting pixelated.

Re: Electrical issue - Batteries stop charging on shore powe
So I went ahead and swapped out our Xantrex 458 Inverter/Charger with a new Victron Multiplus. I thought it was ok intially, but no dice. Symptoms are the same - after a while on shore power the DC systems see a drop in voltage and eventually go dark. If I start the truck, there is a delay after a c...

Re: Electrical issue - Batteries stop charging on shore powe
If the input voltage drops below a certain level, the charger stops working. Can you check to see if for some reason reason your input voltage is low? Yes, I was thinking the same thing. I have a Surge unit with a voltmeter at the outlet - I'm seeing 117v-121v at the outlet, which should be well wi...

Re: Electrical issue - Batteries stop charging on shore powe
First thing is to check your breakers in the distribution panel. It's a good idea to switch each breaker off then back on again. If this doesn't work you may have a serious problem. Your inverter/charger has a built-in transfer relay. If this relay has gone bad you will probably have to send the in...

Electrical issue - Batteries stop charging on shore power
Hi All - I just purchased a 2011 27RSB on the E450 chassis. I'm having a perplexing electrical issue. The rig has a Xantrex Freedom 458 Inverter/Charger and a Generac QP-40 Generator During our inspection our NRVIA inspector noted that the batteries were at 9v and need to be replaced. The seller had...

Not sure if Tom is still active here at all, but I just bought what I believe was originally Tom's 27RSB and found this thread while looking for info on those same hinges.

Re: Easy Solar Panel Mount
Now that you have had this set up for a good amount of time - Any issues? Would there be enough room to mount 3 panels in that location if you used cross bars?
