Re: Towing capacity 24RB 2005
I just weighed my 2004 24RB 6.0 diesel yesterday. Full fuel & water, packed with some food, clothes & supplies but not too much, not of the lockers, fridge ect are stuffed. The front axle was 4420lbs (max 4600lbs) the rear axle was 9500lbs (max 9450lbs) The only big thing I have is a spare t...

Re: Diesel Batteries/Electrical
Hello Eric, I have a 2004 24RB with the 6.0L diesel. When I put the motorhome in storage I did not disconnect the batteries, as there is no easy way to disconnect them. After the motorhome was in storage for a couple of months or longer I always had to charge the batteries to get the motorhome start...

Re: Six Inch lift kit ?
It has been about three years since I lifted the motorhome. I have had an additional two inches added to the rear axle, as the motorhome was a little low in the rear. The motorhome handles better on the road now than before the lift, and I was in the Arizona desert (Quartzsite) and I drove through a...

All in all I like the s...

Re: How to run a new wire from battery box to MH interior??
Hi Bill, Thank you for the suggestion, but the shunt for the Victron Battery Monitor has to be installed on the negative cable, and in order for the monitor to be able to track the battery load the shunt needs to be in the battery box, as the 12vdc to my inverter is directly from the battery, so I n...

How to run a new wire from battery box to MH interior??
Has anyone ran a new wire into the motorhome from the battery box? I want to install a Victron BMV-712 battery monitor and the shunt needs to be mounted in the battery box, and a UTP cable ran into the motorhome for the monitor. I have been under the motorhome looking and the only thing I found two ...

Re: Six Inch lift kit ?
I had my 24RB lifted 6" in March. WeldTec did the lift. I like the results, but with the pandemic I have not used the motorhome nearly as much as I had planned on. It is 22" to the bottom of the rear bumper now. After I picked up the motorhome from Weldtec the front end needed to be aligne...

Re: Microwave Replacement
The microwave has holes in the side for mounting the face plate to. I am waiting on a warranty replacement for the convection oven that shut down after about 20min. When I install it I am also going to add a 3" muffin fan behind the oven for additional cooling. OK, the replacement oven arrived....

Re: Microwave Replacement
I ran the new microwave as a convection oven this evening, and after about 20 minutes it died. The circuit breaker is still closed. I will pull it out after it cools & check for power. I think I am going to have a warranty claim soon.

Re: Microwave Replacement
I just replaced my Panasonic microwave / convection oven with the High Pointe Bill put a link to. Thank you Bill! It fit after we removed the two wooden blocks and the aluminum supports. We installed two blocks 1-1/8" high by 12" long for the High Pointe microwave to rest on, and the face ...
