Looks great Kevin you did an excellent job looks like it was a fun project!
My daughter and I were just in Shelburne a couple weeks ago, it was the Friday before Shelburne had their fall festival. Beautiful weather and the leaves were just starting to change color.

Re: Strong Gasoline Smell, intermittently
Good Afternoon Dean, I apologize that I never thanked you for your response. I must have missed it, I didn't know you had responded until today. I had thought about contacting you directly several times to ask you how you like the Mor/ryde. I'm still considering installing them, apparently they will...

Re: blank tank compartment door latch question
For a temporary fix you can lock the door, I had a similar problem on the door that covers our generator. Because we don't often open that door I found it easier to just lock the door.

Re: Anybody Out There?
I really enjoy the Born Free sightings Steve, keep posting them! My youngest son and I are traveling through West Virginia right now on our way to a Golf Tournament in Kentucky, always on the look out for Born Frees. Still amazed at the smiles and second looks we receive traveling down the highway. ...

Biltmore Estate Ashville, NC.
My wife and I recently returned from a wonderful trip to Ashville NC. My great grandfather came to the United States from Scotland in 1895 to work as a gardener at the Biltmore Estate. He grew up in a one room farmhouse on a farm in Scotland and was one of 19 children. He and two of his siblings wer...

Re: Squeaky Flexsteel Captains Charis
Thank for that information Kevin. Several years ago when we purchased our used 2003 rb the previous owners told us that their Flexsteel Captains chairs did not slide front to back. I was pretty sure they did because they were identical to other chairs we had in our previous Born Free. Sure enough th...

Re: Electric Privacy Shade
Thank you for your input/replies. I removed the switch to see if there were any loose wires which there weren't, put it back together and it's working again. Just returned from sheltering in a bathhouse in a Winesburg Ohio campground because of a Tornado warning...…...pulled the Born Free out from u...

Electric Privacy Shade
Our electric privacy (white) shade on our driver side window stopped working this morning. The other (black) shade works fine. When I push the button to go down it works fine but when I push the button to go up it makes a clicking sound at the end of the blind and will not retract. Has anyone had a ...

Re: Wannabe One of You
John I was able to use the material from this slide out table and cabinet to make our current table and cabinet. I built a sample cabinet out of some old plywood first to get my size and shape correct. If I wasn't a farmer I think I could really enjoy working in an RV factory, I've been intrigued by...

Re: Wannabe One of You
I made some modifications (tore it apart a bit) to our 23 Freedom after we purchased it in an effort to make it similar to our 2003 RB.
Enclosed are a couple before and after pictures.

Re: Strong Gasoline Smell, intermittently
Hello Dean, We visited Mor/ryde several years ago with our 2003 24' RB. At the time they said our 2003 was not a good fit for the Mor/ryde system. We recently had Mor/ryde quote me a price for our 2013 Freedom. Are you happy with the Mor/ryde system, and did they install it for you? Thank you, Dave ...
