Repair Source for Born Free
Just completed the great rally at Sherwood, Ohio. This is just a shout out to the club coordinators and the Kuhn Truck and RV group for the organization of the rally. Also I had some coach work done there (mainly a wired back up camera) as well as toured the Born Free coaches for sale at Kuhn.

Kuhn Trucking and RV
Located in Sherwood, Ohio. This family owned facility specializes in Born Free motor coaches, among a few other quality brands. They can completely rebuild a Born Free. I’ve had them do various repair items, install a wired RVS rear view camera, detailing, etc. They are also a good source to buy a p...

V10 Triton Spark Plug Issues
The 1999 - 2005 Ford V10 Triton has the reported flaw with seizing or blowing the spark plugs. I’m at 89 thousand miles and would like any advice from those that have replaced plugs with no issues later.

Re: Replacement Holding Tank Source
Hi - I just saw your post. Did you ever find a source for black tank replacement? I need one too for a ‘99. 23’ RK. I’ve called Amer-kart, the company that acquired the company Bornfree used, but all those tanks are gone or melted down. The price a service center has given me for someone to mold a n...

Re: Black Water Holding Tank Replacement
I’ll share my experience, it may not be the same as your coach. Mine is a 99’ RK 23’. Only the toilet runs into the black tank. All others drain to the grey tank. I can’t answer your questions on the vents. I’ve had the outlet pipe of the black tank break loose and repaired it with plastic welding, ...

Replace Norcold unit with Amish Unit
The cooling unit on my 99’ Norcold (n641) refrigerator is done. Rather than a new refrigerator I’m thinking of this product - hopefully higher quality. Does any one have any experience or knowledge of this company/product?
Thank you

Re: Leak??
Thank you. I’ll keep looking. I’ve just installed the access port but I’d noticed the leak prior so I don’t think it’s the plate. I do need to seal the plate better - silicon doesn’t adhere to poly too well.

Leak??
Need some help please. I’m seeing moisture “weeping” at this location. Around the rectangular plastic piece. Only when the plumbing is under Pressure for a period of time. Any ideas? What is the rectangular piece?

Re: Michelin Defender - Any feedback?
Just put on a set of the Defenders yesterday - the installation process was a headache but that's on the installer not the product. I kept the Borg valve extenders - just replaced the rubber parts. After some highway test runs - very quiet tire. No vibration or sway.

Michelin Defender - Any feedback?
Has anyone had any experience with the Michelin Defender (light truck tire). If so - what is your coach size? I've had three sets of the LTX MS and MS2, on a 23 RK with good success, but they've discontinued the tire after the recall. The Defender is the tire taking it's place - Consumer Reports giv...
