You've made good assessment of the three coaches. I may be alone on this opinion, but I like the BF exterior. I like the fact that it does not become "dated" with a different paint job or body style coming out every year or two. Fortunately I've been able to keep mine garaged since 1999 an...

Steve, I'm sorry to hear of all the issues - it shouldn't happen. Kind of makes one wonder about QC?

I've been fortunate regarding problems, pretty much general maintenace since 1999 (knock on wood).

Can you use the Foreman for any thing that wouldn't work with the top covering it - maybe veggies?

http://www.motorhomechassis.com/ owned by Pete Scalf.

Pete did the warrenty work in Clermont, FL for Bornfree. He has just recently relocated his business to Tenn.

I've used Pete for many things on my BF and always felt he did a good job and definately knew the BF coach.

WiFi Antennna

Does anyone have any experience with an antenna that mounts outside or inside the unit, which allows use from a greater distance then one can typically use with the installed card?

I have the 23' rear kitchen too - 1999. I think in mine the fuse in that line is actually a 7 amp, very light. It's light due to the antenna wiring and booster wiring, not the BF wiring from the outlet to the converter. Using an inverter with TV will typically blow the fuse. Using an inverter and po...

I also have the 2610 and the cab overhead doesn't seem to have an effect, however downtown areas that surround me with tall buildings will stop the reception (Atlanta, Houston, etc.). Sometimes if I'm in a valley with mountains around me I lose reception.

I know no one likes a complainer; but for years many of us tried to get BF to use the batwing - but no.

So now we have to go to the expense and time to make an after market change and NOW they switch - cheez.

Boy Sam, you do have some issues fortunately they don't seem to be the norm I hope you have better luck in the future. I looked at both coaches and went to CA to test drive and possibly buy a coach. This was when the LD was on the 350 chassis (23'). It had a low payload, the drive was too soft for m...

Ann, I'm always concerned about tank water quality too, as I use it for my drinking water. A couple of suggestions, I think the testing is a good idea, I do it also. 1. You can put a solution of vinegar and water in your tank, drive it awhile let it set over night and drive it again, then drain it. ...

Yes Charlotte, there are a few to avoid for sure but there are some great ones too, that we would miss. I'll start working on my list. They can be unique campgrounds or boondocking sites, some can just be good "central locations" to visit an area such as Disney World, etc. This might also ...

Campground Recommendations Database

Would several be interested in having a data base on the club web site, where we could post unique campgrounds to share with each other - by state? This would allow us to check out areas on line where we were planning a trip to locate something special or unique. I have noticed the RV Forum and Lazy...

For a wash I use Meguiars soap and for a wax I use Meguiars RV/Boat wax, which is supposedly made especially for fiberglass surfaces.

I try to put a coat of wax on it three times a year and wash it after each trip and during the trip if it needs to be washed.

Seems to do a pretty good job.
