Re: Whats the steepest "grade" sign you have ever seen?

I don't know the name of the grade. It is on hwy 175 headed south into Middletown. That was the Valley Fire I believe. I was with a friend from Clearlake Oaks who is a retired firefighter.

Re: Whats the steepest "grade" sign you have ever seen?

I agree. My 2011 27' RSB has tow/haul that works pretty good. Somehow that transmission computer knows when I am pointed downhill and shifts down. Would be nice to have a more accessible button than the one on the end of the shift lever. I'm wondering if the computer has an inclinometer that senses ...

Re: Born Free at Weed

Wasn't me. We went through Weed about 3 weeks ago on a 2 week trip from central California to Salem, Or. Never thought anyone would see another BF in Weed..... Just got back from 49er encampment in Death Valley Nat. Park. Had to be at least 300 to 400 RV's there and one other BF, a built for two, 19...

Re: New Member

Welcome to the forum. If you don't want to navigate San Francisco, you can come south on 101 to near Ukiah and then take Hwy. 20 past Clear Lake to Interstate 5 and head south on that. We have come that way a number of times and enjoy the views driving past Clear Lake. Of course you don't get to see...

Re: Finally! Another Born Free

Hard to find other BF's out there. We too were in Sisters Creekside CG about two weeks ago. We saw a Built for 2 BF come through, but they just used the dump and left so we didn't get to make contact. Would like to see what a built for 2 is like on the inside. We have a 2011 RSB 27' and on our last ...

Receiver pin problem

This is a new one for me. I have been towing various trailers for years with no problems. I now have a 2011 27RBS Born Free and tow a 2008 Subaru. On a recent trip, I had stopped at a rest stop for lunch and made my general walk around looking for trouble. I found it! My tow bar is pinned to the rec...

Re: 5 Star Tuning...my 2 cents

Looked up that TSB and came up with a Mustang lower control arm problem.

Re: Looking for RV park recommendations along Oregon on 101

Rob and Joan, we just returned from a trip down the Oregon coast from Astoria south to CA. We love the OR state parks and spent one night at Ft. Stevens St. Park. We got in on a Sunday morning for one night. It is usually filled up the rest of the week with reservations. Great park. Also spent time ...
