Re: TV Antenna

The red and black adapter is a connector to draw 12 volt current out of the cigarette receptacle. It should pull straight out if you want to remove it.

Here is another like mine (my first post), without the ashtray. No free shipping on this one.

Re: Locating Ford F350 doghouse console

Here is the trim console. Uses the same 3 attachment points (This image and the rest of of them on eBay show it upside down).

Re: Locating Ford F350 doghouse console

FYI. Here is a photo of the engine shield that the console attaches to. Note the 3 attachment points. The console slides up and off of those 3 attachment points.

Re: Locating Ford F350 doghouse console

Here is the one I have. It is a slim design - allows easy access to rear of coach. Regardless of what it says, it will fit your coach. It fit my 2003 chassis. You just slide the old one up and out, and slide this one in and down. This is a new one. I bought mine used several years ago at 1/3 the pri...

Re: House Batteries - 6V vs 12V

Jeff, sorry, not sure of the model #. Kim in Customer Service at the BF factory sent it to me several years ago. You could give him a call and ask him what size he recommends for your year and model coach.

Re: House Batteries - 6V vs 12V

I installed two 6v Trojan T-105 Plus batteries in series. Best thing I ever did with batteries. The Plus series have the individual hinged pop-up caps that I like - makes it easy to check water level. I also replaced the original battery tray with the EZ Glide unit that allows the batteries to come ...

Re: Alignment? Tire balance?

I've always been told that if there is a vibration in the steering wheel, then there is a rear tire out of balance. Was also told that it is a good idea to have new tires re-balanced after the first 500-1,000 miles, even though they were balanced at the time of replacement. As Bill above suggests, g...

Re: Actual weights on 26' or 27' RSB 2004-2013

It'd be my guess that there isn't a Class C motorhome on a Ford E-series chassis on the road that isn't over the allowable weight on the rear axle. Probably even more exagerated on the newer Sprinter-style chassis.

Re: 1996 bf 24rb -gross weight question

I may be wrong, but it is my opinion that towing a vehicle 4 down doesn't add more weight on your chassis. The weight of the towed vehicle is supported by itself. What I would be concerned about is whether the coach has enough power, the tranny is adequate (does it need a separate cooler), the suspe...
