Re: Need a Ford truck specialist in Denver
Many thanks, and your info may explain a lot: the numbers I have are 1-800-392-3673 and 1-800-565-3673 but I failed to listen long enough to make the correct selection.

Re: Greetings from Tanzania
At one time Wally Byam took 60 Airstream trailers to Cape Town and drove from Cape Town to Cairo. Too dangerous to do that today probably in Tanzania and elsewhere.

Re: Need a Ford truck specialist in Denver
Dont you hate it when forum members do not post the end of the story? Having failed to get 5 Ford dealers to even attempt to fix my starter either because they have no diesel experience; or the rig was deemed to large for their premises (Triumph 27 footer); or because they were too busy to do any di...

Need a Ford truck specialist in Denver
I am stuck at High Plains Raceway just East of Denver. The F550 Triumph PSD wont start. Not the batteries and per the Diesel Stop web site I am fairly sure the solonoid ha failed. I have called 6 Ford dealers and they either won't touch the Chassis Cabs or the PSD motors, or they cannot accommodate ...

Re: Trundle bed misery
I have an identical set up in a 2014 Triumph. I also use a sleep sack which is mostly unzipped especially in the Summer when running the generator and a/c is a noisy business at night. With the sack unzipped it slides off the very slick leather. I do not feel the cushion edges as described in this t...

Re: Critical Preventative Maintenance
Replace tires at 5 years from their manufacture date - you can stretch the fronts but discipline is needed for the rears. Shocks don't last more than 70K miles especially in chuck hole populated Northern states and Melted asphalt Southern climes. If you have not done this in the last 70K of your 130...

Re: Critical Preventative Maintenance
The diff oil should be replaced every 60K or 5 years with a synthetic. Our coaches are carrying a load every time they move and the diff gets a bigger work out than Ford/Dana envisaged when they proscribed the replacement schedule. And don't forget the brake fluid that must be changed every 2 years ...

Re: Electric door lock problem
Many thanks - Kim at BF saw this post and sent me the Challenger Door contact although I have yet to find anyone to pick up the phone. However HDC think its the keyboard that has failed and are trying to sell me one at 50% off in lieu of warranty (basically their fully loaded cost) which they say ca...

Electric door lock problem
My 2014 BF Triumph has the HDC HD0008-HW coach electric lock. When it's exposed to direct sun for a few hours it will not unlock. The key must be used but within 5 minutes it locks itself. As soon as direct sun ceases, the operation returns to normal. I have read of this problem with another brand w...

[quote="Rich Flaugh"]We looked at the Sprinter chassis competition but not enough "payload" for us. We many times haul a total of eight friends or family on short trips and need the CCC of the E-450. The BF design is heavy-duty and is probably why we experience minimal squeaks, r...
