Re: Ready for Spring? Sanitizing/Disinfecting the Water Tank/Lines

We have a 2013 with a Girard tankless. Make sure the power is off to the water heater before you start the de-winterizing (that also goes for the winterizing process). Other than that, we've had no issues with the standard process.

Re: Born Free Logo

I'm curious about the colors in this version compared to my 2013 BF. The colors on the lion don't look right and there is no outline on the Born Free letters (original has the same color letters as the inside of the lion with outline the same color as the outline of the lion. The graphics shop asked...

Re: Newbie needing coach lighted fuse panel schematic/diagra

Apologies for the delay in responding. I've looked through everything and we don't have the fuse diagram either. I think our coach was the first one with a power awning installed, if I remember correctly. It was a Dometic 9100 and was a 110v awning on a circuit that went through the inverter (so the...

Re: Newbie needing coach lighted fuse panel schematic/diagra

We also have a 2013 and I don't think we got the circuit diagram with our unit - I don't remember ever seeing it. We're heading out on a trip later this week so I'll look through the manuals and let you know if I find it.

Removing theft-proof covers from TPMS sensors

I need to replace the batteries in my TST 507 TPMS sensors. Getting that theft-proof cover off with the 3 super tiny screws is really a pain, and putting it back on I'm sure won't be any better. Is there really a big problem with theft of these sensors, and if not, any harm in leaving the covers off?

Re: Awning options

FYI, due to the dramatically increased demand for RVs and (according to our repair shop) some poor business decisions by Dometic, we have been waiting since last June for a replacement electric awning for our coach (damaged beyond repair by user error in backing up the coach). They are looking at ot...

Auxiliary start didn't work

(Apologies if this has been addressed before but I didn't find anything after searching a bit) I went to pick up our 2013 Mobility from the storage lot yesterday - it had been idle about 2 months during the pandemic shutdowns. It wouldn't start (just clicking) although the radio worked so it wasn't ...

How to remove wet bath sink drain (2013 model)

The bathroom sink has become slower and slower to drain over the past few years and I'm pretty sure it's just clogs (hair, soap scum, etc.). I'm sure using Drano or such would not be a good idea, so I tried stuffing baking soda down it and following with vinegar, but the drain access is so tight tha...

Re: blank tank compartment door latch question

We have the same problem. Ours does not have a lock on it so that's no help.

My ugly but cheap and functional temporary fix is a strip of blue tape over the handle. Works for the 3-4 days in between tank dumps.

Thanks! We don't have an RSB but I need something similar for the sleeping pad we put on the sofa bed. This looks perfect!

Body repairs now very expensive

As a heads up for everyone, now that fiberglass replacement parts are no longer available from the factory, body repairs can be very expensive. We had a driver's side rear outside tire tread separation on our 2013 26' Mobility while driving at freeway speeds and the separated tread caused a lot of b...

Latch on sewer dump door working loose while driving

The last few trips out, the latch on the sewer dump door (rear driver side) on our 2013 26' Mobility has worked loose while driving and the door opens up. The first few times I just stopped at the first safe place and closed it, only to have it happen again 30-60 minutes later. I've looked at the la...

Re: No Brake, Tail, Running lights or rear Turn signals.

Have you checked the fuse? I'm not familiar with your model but the 2012 Ford E-450 owner's manual has a fuse chart near the back that has been very helpful to us (for some reason, our power driver's seat has blown out its fuse multiple times). If it's intermittent, it probably isn't blown, but it c...
