You will not want to miss celebrating the 250^th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence with your fellow BFLLRV Club members and other RV enthusiasts on July 4^th. Join us at the FRVA (Family RV Association fka FMCA) 113^th International Convention (July 1-4), at the Missouri State Fairgrounds in Sedalia, MO.

Sedalia, founded in 1857 by General George Rapeen Smith, is known as the "Queen City of the Prairie" and is famous for its rich railroad history, ragtime music legacy (especially Scott Joplin), and the permanent home of the Missouri State Fair. During the Civil War, it was a strategic Union military post, leading to a boom in merchants and traders. Following the war, it became a major railhead terminus for the massive Texas cattle drives, earning it the nickname "Missouri Cowtown". Today, Sedalia is a thriving community that honors its diverse history. The former KATY railroad right-of-way has been converted into the Katy Trail State Park, a national Rails-to-Trails project used by bikers and walkers. It promises a historic backdrop for our nation's milestone celebration.

For this rally, we will piggyback on the FRVA's 113^th International Convention & RV Expo at the Missouri State Fairgrounds and enjoy its many planned activities, including celebrating America's 250^th birthday, complete with a fireworks display (viewed from our campsite) on the Fourth of July. In addition to all the good activities this convention will offer, we will circle our chairs at our group campsite and hold some BFLLRV Club-only activities such as a potluck dinner (BYO beverage) on the first evening, perhaps a pizza party another evening and other activities, all yet to be determined, for a small fee ($20/person or less - cash) to be paid at the campsite.

FRVA rally activities generally include:

• RV Expo Vendor Exhibits - browse and shop for RV-related products and services
• Educational Seminars - RV maintenance, service, and travel tips
• Entertainment - typically live performances, concerts, and music during morning coffee and evenings
• Social Events and Camaraderie - typically Ladies Tea, ice cream socials, and various games
• Breakfast rolls and coffee
• And much more
