Dates: | Apr 25 - 29, 2026 |
| Location: | Boulder Creek RV Resort 2550 US-395 Lone Pine, CA |
We will stay in Lone Pine, an area rich in natural wonders and history. It lies between the highest point (Mt. Whitney) in the contiguous United States and lowest (Death Valley), with mountain views on both sides. There will likely be snow on the mountains and desert wildflowers. Nearby are the Alabama Hills, location of over 400 movies, mainly cowboy movies in the early days.

Our stay will be at Boulder Creek RV Resort, with pull-through sites, complimentary muffins and coffee in the morning, and a lovely clubhouse for our dinners. We can take short drives to The Museum of Western Film History, the Eastern California Museum, and the Manzanar National Historic Site, among the sites of interest in the area. We may have a guided tour of Alabama Hills movie sites. We will have our usual games and social gatherings.
