I-Rally Description

Come join your Born Free Leap'n Lions friends and make some new ones in Branson, MO. We're planning five fun-filled days, exploring some of the natural beauty of the Missouri Ozarks and experiencing some wonderful shows in unique venues in Branson, one of the most entertaining towns in America.

We'll be spending Monday at Dogwood Canyon Nature Park. This 10,000 acre paradise was purchased in the 1990s by Johnny Morris, founder of Bass Pro Shops. Today it is owned and operated by the Johnny Morris Foundation along with 40 leading national conservation organizations for the betterment of wildlife and habitat. We will tour the park in open-air trams for the first two hours, past towering cliffs and thundering waterfalls as well as view up-close American bison, white tail deer, elk and long-horn cattle. We then visit the Mill house to see the waterfall-driven millstone in action, have some lunch at the Mill & Canyon Grill Restaurant then explore the conservation center and a treehouse built by Animal Planet's Treehouse Masters.

Tuesday we will board the majestic 700 seat paddle wheeler, The Branson Belle, for a two-hour cruise on pristine Table Rock Lake while enjoying a scrumptious lunch and variety show. Following the cruise, we will visit the Table Rock Lake Dam and the Dewy Short Visitor Center.

Wednesday will be a day for you to pursue your own interests. There is a huge variety of activities to delight you. If you're so inclined, bring your golf clubs and/or fishing gear and experience the nearby links and lakes. There are two state parks, Table Rock State Park and Roaring River State Park, in the area with several hiking trails each. There's also the fabulous Silver Dollar City. Enjoy!

After a day on your own to do as you please, we will wrap up our rally with a fabulous dinner and spirited entertainment at Dolly Parton's Stampede.
