Discover the lush Umpqua River Valley and surrounding areas in SW Oregon. This location is two hours from the ocean, three hours from the California Redwoods (#11) and two hours from Crater Lake National Park (#8)! Group activities include visiting Wildlife Safari (#2) outdoor park, jet-boating through Hellgate on the Rogue River (#3), catered meals and music by local musicians.
The Umpqua River Valley is a very scenic part of Oregon with mountains, lush forests, waterfalls and numerous places to hike and bicycle. There are many vineyards and micro-breweries in the area.
Canyonville is a vibrant, small community nestled in Oregon's scenic southwest region at the base of Canyon Creek Mountain Pass and adjacent to the South Umpqua River. With a population of just under 2,000, the town has a rich history shared by the Cow Creek Band of the Umpqua Tribe of Indians. The townsite is on the Applegate Trail, platted in 1858 and in 1901 became the 2nd incorporated town in Oregon.
Seven Feathers RV Resort is a new RV Park near the Seven Feathers Casino. It is conveniently located along Interstate 5, but on the other side of the highway from the casino. The resort is a top-rated Good Sam park. The park is providing us with a special group rate for 15 sites. We may be able to exceed that limit but additional sites are not guaranteed to be adjacent to the others. The sites all have full hook-ups and are in a wooded area. Our 15 sites are all next to one another and near to a covered Barbeque Pavilion which will be rented for the second and third days of the rally. You are welcome to use the Pavilion on these days for informal gatherings, games, and other activities. Additional amenities include a pool and a fitness center.
