Explore Watkins Glen and Schuyler County, located on the southern shore of beautiful Seneca Lake in the heart of New York's incredible Finger Lakes Region. One of the premier cool-climate growing regions in the world, the Finger Lakes are home to an amazing array of wineries, breweries, distilleries, and hard cider producers.
The Clute Memorial Park & Campground is within walking distance of many restaurants, shopping, and outdoor recreation opportunities in Watkins Glen. Tours of the Corning Museum of Glass and the Rockwell Museum of Western Art are planned for July 17 and 18.
Watkins Glen State Park is 1.2 miles from our campground. The State Park is full of scenic natural areas and spectacular sites. There are 19 waterfalls, including Hector Falls, a magnificent 165-foot waterfall that tumbles over shale and limestone as it travels to Seneca Lake.
On July 19, we will take a 2-hour boat cruise from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Seneca Lake with Captain Bill's Cruises. This cruise will include a seated lunch.
