This rally will take place in the historic and charming city of Albany, Oregon at the Linn County Fair and Expo Center. Albany is predominantly a farming and manufacturing city that settlers founded around 1848, some after surviving the hardships of traveling by ox team over the famous Oregon Trail. It is located in the heart of the Willamette Valley and sits at the confluence of the Willamette River and the Calapooia River. Albany is a community rich in history with its more than 800 historic homes and buildings within its National Register of Historic Districts. This includes structures from colorful Queen Anne Victorian homes (known as the painted ladies of America Architecture) to craftsman-style bungalows. But that's not all. This friendly city is also home to many restaurants, museums, antique shops, a colorful carousel studio and some of the Bailey's best brews.
For this rally we will be piggybacking our group rally on the FMCA Northwest Area Rally and enjoy their many planned activities which will be listed when they are announced. However, typically the FMCA Northwest rally offers activities such as seminars, crafts, RV vendors, a hot dog bash, some catered meals, ice cream social, entertainment and possibly a town tour. In addition to all the good things the FMCA rally will have to offer, we are planning some Club-only activities at our group campsite (for a small fee collected on site) which will also be announced as we get closer to the event.
As rally details become available, they will be posted along with the registration form.
